Izy is a Registered Remedial Massage Therapist offering Holistic Bodywork treatments here in Newtown. Izy received his Diploma of Remedial Massage from the Evolve College in May 2018 through an advanced and comprehensive training program in therapeutic massage.
Izy’s continued education in the field of Remedial Massage Therapy includes: Sports Trainer, Kinesiology Taping, Myofascial Cupping, Dry Needling, Treating the Athlete, Treating Nerve & Low Back Pain, Exercise Rehabilitation in the Treatment of the Neck, Knee Condition Physical Assessments & Therapeutic Corrections.
Izy has several years of experience in clinical practice and works in close consultation with integrative health professionals including; physiotherapists, osteopaths, nutritionists, personal trainers, chiropractors, medical specialists and general practitioners.
Izy’s treatments are adapted to your needs, and in addition to manual therapy, can involve comprehensive assessment, education, and recommendations for self-care activities and remedial exercises to enhance your overall wellbeing.
Izy provides treatments that support your body’s own healing through the utilisation of the following techniques: Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Release, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Myofascial Cupping, Kinesiology Taping, and Muscle Energy Technique.
Izy is registered with all major health funds in Australia.
